3. The Forces shall make and maintain auch fire bruken around butts and target areas as may be deemed necary by the Director of Agricul- Lure, Fisheries and Forestry,

The Forces shall be prepared to take and shall take immediata action to extinguish any fire started by them outside the butla or target area during the course of or as a result of practice. firing,
(1) The Forces shall pay to the owners or lessees thereof compen- sation for damage or losa enused to forestry lot trees or crops by the use of the Firing Area as a practice range.
(2) Such compensation shall be assessed by the District Commis- sioner, New Territories, in consultation with the Director of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry,

This Order is made to authorize Her Majesty's Forces to use certain land at QUARRY CAMP for practice firing." The Order probibits access to the areas affected during specificd houra on all days of each week. The prohibition enforceable by penalty is necessary so as to enforce safety precautions Provision is also made by the Order for payment of ear- pensation to owners or lessees of land affected where damage or losa is caused to trees or crops by naa of the area of land as a practice range.

THIRD SCHEDULE
Notice of Practice Firing.
(Paragraph 5.
1 (1) Notice that practice firing is taking place in the Firing Area shall be given by the display of the signals hereinafter mentioned.
(2) Such signals shall be displayed thirty minutes before Bring is due to commence.
(3) In all cases eignals shall remain displayed until Bring har erased and shall then be removed.
2. The signals referred to in paragraph 1 shall be-
(1) A large red flag flown hosted with a sentry posted at the base of the flagpole from which the aforementioned flag is flown at the following points-
