An Ordinance to provide for the payment of compensation to workmen who are injured in the course of their employment.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Workmen's Com- Short title pensation Ordinance, 1953, and shall come into operation on such and com day as the Governor may appoint by Proclamation in the Gaselle.
