An Ordinance to amend The Hongkong and Shanghai Bank-

ing Corporation Ordinance (Chapter 70).

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, a5 follows.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as The Hongkong and Short title, Shanghai Banking Corporation (Amendment) Ordinance, 1953.

2. Section 11 of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Amendment Corporation Ordinance is amended by the deletion from the of section, 11. (Cap. fourth line of subsection (1) and from the fourth line of sub- 70). section (3) of the words "forty-six million dollars" and the substitution therefor in each case of the following-

"thirty million dollars''.
