Is Covernment aware
(a) that certain omers of properties requisitioned by
Government on behalf of the Military authorities have received no compensation since the dates of tha re- question over one year ago, although notice of impending payment has now been given ?
(b) that in the meantime some of such omera have had to pay interest to their mortgageus on loons contracted for constructing the buildings in question ?
Apart from the question of financial hardship, docs Government realise that, since the requinition was offected by Goverment and in the name of Government, the default in payment of compensation is a grave reflection on Government 2
What steps doos Government propose to take to ensure due and punotucă ocponsetion in future ?
