(2) The examination shall be conducted by a registered medical practitioner, who shell report in writing to the manager ou the general health of the hoarders and on the sanitary condi- tion of the school buildings as a whole and on the dormitory accommodation and the boarding arrangements in particular. The report shall also give the names of any of the boarders whose state of health is such as to demand special treatment and shul briefly state the nature of the treatment requirod.
(3) A copy of such report shall be transmitted forthwith by the manager to the Director.
21. Medical Officers of Schools and Health Inspectors of inspection of Schools shall, when required by the Director, inspect schools to see that the health requirements in Part 1 of these regulations are duly observed. Such officers shall promptly report to the Director the result of such inspections submitting their recom- mendations if any.
Corporal punishment.
I'ART IV.
DISCIPLINE.
22. (1) Corporal punishment of girls is forbidden.
(2) Corporal punishment for boys shall be administered with a light case on the palms of the hands or on the buttocks over the clothing. No other form of corporal punishment shall be administered.
(3) Where there is more than one teacher corporal punish- ment shall be inflicted by the head teacher only, or under his express authority.
(6) The payment of every sum of money by or on behalf of a pupil to a manager or teacher shall be forthwith acknowledged in writing by such manager or teacher on a proper form of receipt. (6) The manager of every school shall keep proper books of account. Such account books shall be available at all reasonable times for inspection by the Director or any person authorized by him.
(7) No change in the inclusive monthly fee shall be made without the written upproval of the Director.
(8) No manager or teacher shall appeal to pupils for charitable subscriptions or make collections in his school for presents or gratuities or any other purpose without the previous permission of the Director.
(9) No manager or teacher shall hold any class on school premises during the subool holidays without the previous permis- sion of the Director.
(10) In every classroom there shall be kept conspicuously exhibited a framed certificute, signed by the Director or soma officer on his behalf, stating the inclusive monthly fee for that class. There shall be included in auch certificate the following in both English and Chinese –

PART VI.
GENERAL.
24. Schools shall be registered as Day Schools or Night Classification Schools and be sub-classified as-

23. (1) The manager of every school shall submit to the Director when required by him, particulars of the inclusive mouthly fee.
(2) Upon receipt of such particulars the Director shall cause the name of the manager, the name and address of the school, and the particulars of the inclusive monthly fee to be published in the Gazette.
(3) No manager or teacher shall charge or accept pay- ment of any school fees whatsoever other than the inclusive moothly fee.
(4) The inclusive monthly fee shall be paid monthly in advance and not otherwise unless permitted by the Director.
(a) Boys' Schools;
(b) Girls' Schools; or
(c) Mixed Schools.
25. Every certificate of registration issued pursuant to section Certificates 8 of the Education Ordinance, 1913, shall be kept conspicuously of registration exhibited at the school in respect of which it is issued.
