An Ordinance to amend the Pawnbrokers Amendment Or-

dinance, 1948.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Pawnbrokers Amendment Ordinance, 1947.

Short Title.

Amendment

of Son. B of

of 1946.

2. Section 6 of the Pawnbrokers Amendment Ordinance, 1946, is amended by the insertion, immediately before the Ord. No. 23 full stop appearing in the last line of the said section, of the following words

"and upon such cessation without prejudice to the transactions aforesaid the Pawnbrokers Ordinance,

1930, shall have effect as if this Ordinance had not

been enacted "'.
