An Ordinance to amend the Defences(Sketching Prevention)

Ordinance, 1895.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Defences (Sketch- Bhort title. ing Prevention) Amendment Ordinance, 1940.

2. The Defences (Sketching Frevention) Ordinance, Amendments 1896, is amended-

to OrdinancE No. 1 of 1389, s. 14,

() by the insertion of the words or air force after 2,4,44 and the words "naval or military" in sections 1A (6), 2 (1), 4 6. and 4A;

(ii) by the insertion of the words or of the field of fire of any weapon therein after the word “ballery ** in section 2 (1);

** or aircraft after

(iii) by the insertion of the words ** the word "ships" in sections 2 (1) and 4;

(iv) by the insertion of the words "or landing, firing, bombing or minefield areas after the word " anchorages in sections 14 (6), 2 (1) and 4;
