PROCLAMATION.

Governor,

By His Excellency Sir ANDREW CALDECOTT, Knight Com- mander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice Admiral of the same.

WHEREAS by section 4 of the Telecommunication Amendment Ordinance, 1937, (Ordinance No. 1 of 1937) is is provided that the suid Ordinance shall not come into operation unless and until the Governor notifies by Proclama- tion that it is His Majesty's pleasure not to disallow the same and that thereafter it shall come into operation upon such day as the Governor shall notify by the same or any other Proclamation ;

Now I, the said Governor, do hereby PROCLAIM and NOTIFY that it is His Majesty's pleasure not to disallow the said Ordinance and that it shall come into operation on the twelfth day of April, 1937,

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong, this eighth day of April, 1937.
