PROCLAMATION,

Governor,

By His Excellency Sir Hesay ARTHUR BLASE, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished. Order of Saint Michel and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong- kong and its Dependencies, mul Vice Admiral of the same,

Whereas, by Regulations No. 1 of the Quarnitine Regulations made by the Governor in Council on the 17th they of June, 1901, under section 25 of Ordinance No. 26 of 1891, it is provided that th

And whomes the said tĮuarantine Regulations were duly notified to take effect us from the 20th day of June, 1901 :

And wheres the Governor in Council has ordered that Amoy should be proclaimed as a port or place at which an infectious or contagious disease prevails ;

Now, therefore, 1, Sir HENRY ARTHUR BLAKE, Knight Granul Cross of the Most Distinguishesel Order of Saint Michael and Suing George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong- Rongg and its Depen·lencios, and Vice-Ailniiral of the same, do hereby, with the advice of the Executive Council, proclaim that Amoy is a port or place at which an infections or contagious disease prevails.
