Maps indicating the locations and ways of getting to the eight government clinics will be widely displayed at all of the Department of Health's general out-patient clinics and public hospitals with Accident and Emergency Unit to facilitate members of the public to visit the clinics. Posters are also put up at District Offices and Housing Department offices.
Meanwhile, the Department of Health has made arrangements with four paging companies to display messages on the opening of government holiday clinics on pagers during the Lunar New Year holidays. This is a new attempt to boost publicity for government holiday clinics.
The four paging companies are ABC Communication Limited, Hong Kong Telecom CSL, Hutchison Telecom Limited and Stars Telecom Limited.

Students compete for CAL Design Modules Award

The final of the Computer-Assisted Learning (CAL) Modules Design Contest, CAL'97, will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 9.30 am at Chiang Chen Studio Theatre, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU).
Jointly organised by the Curriculum Development Institute (CDI) of the Education Department and the Hong Kong Association for Computer Education, the contest is open to all full-time secondary students in Hong Kong.
Thirteen finalist projects will compete for the three Grand Prizes and the Most Creative Award.
Prizes for the Outstanding Civic Education Project and Outstanding Teaching Tools will also be awarded.
A Grand School Prize will also be awarded to the school with most credit points.
"The objectives of the contest are to promote computer education among our secondary students and to develop CAL programs for Hong Kong schools by tapping the talents of our own students." Project Director of CAL'97, Dr Miranda Tse, said.
