Tenders must be clearly marked and addressed to the Chairman of the Public Works Tender Board. They must be placed in the Public Works Tender Box at the lift lobby on the 34th floor, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong, before noon on Friday, January 17, 1997.

Tenders invited for clearance of Government land
The Lands Department is inviting tenders for demolition of buildings and clearance and maintenance of Government land on both sides of the harbour.
The demolition works will be carried out under two separate contracts. Works will include demolition of small buildings and clearance of sites of a wide variety of materials, goods and rubbish, and removal of them to dumps, incinerators or other locations for disposal as directed.
Levelling and grading of sites as well as fencing will also be included.
Both contracts will commence in April next year for a period of two years. Details are contained in the Government Gazette published today (Friday).
