The project will need to be completed by the end of January 1998 to coincide with the opening of the new airport.
The extent of the area affected is described in a notice published in Government Gazette today (Friday).
The notice (in both English and Chinese) together with related plan can be seen on notice boards near the site.
The plan can also be inspected at the following locations:
Lands Department's Survey and Mapping Office 14th floor, Murray Building Garden Road;
Tuen Mun District Office second floor, Tuen Mun Government Offices 1 Tuen Hi Road, Tuen Mun;
Island District Office 20th floor, Harbour Building 38 Pier Road, Central;
Mui Wo Sub-office Islands District Office ground floor, Mui Wo Government Offices 2 Ngan Kwong Wan Road Mui Wo, Lantau Island.
Any person who considers that he has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and sea-bed involved may submit a written objection to the Director of Lands on or before August 28.
The notice of such objection shall describe the interest, right or easement of the objector and the manner in which he alleges he will be affected.

Village flood protection works in San Tin
The Drainage Services Department is inviting tenders for village flood protection works for seven villages in San Tin area of north-west New Territories.
This was part of the department's continuous efforts to alleviate flooding hazard in the New Territories, a spokesman for the department said today (Friday).
Works will involve construction of a flood protection embankment, a floodwater storage pond, a flood water pumping station, a maintenance road and other associated works to alleviate flooding hazard.
