Draft Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau Outline Zoning Plan amended
The Town Planning Board today (Friday) announced amendments to the draft Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau Outline Zoning Plan.
Three 'Government/Institution/Community' (GIC) sites at Aberdeen Praya Road, Shum Wan Road and Ap Lei Chau Drive, with areas of about 0.43 hectare, 1.5 hectares and 0.9 hectare respectively, have been rezoned to 'Residential (Group A)' to facilitate the implementation of three private sector participation schemes, a spokesman for the Town Planning Board said.
"These developments, scheduled to be completed by 2000, will provide a total of about 3,000 flats to accommodate about 10,000 persons," he said.
Another amendment is to rezone a site adjoining Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road from 'GIC' to 'Green Belt'.
The amendment plan (No S/H15/7) is now available for public inspection until February 16 during normal office hours at:
