(d) to consider the arrangements for inspecting, licensing and monitoring service providers;
(e) to devise a Code of Practice on reproductive technology (including reproductive technology procedures, embryo research and gamete/embryo storage);
(f) to consider and make recommendations on what information service providers should be required to supply and what records the Council should maintain, including:
(i) a central registry of gamete donors;
(ii) a register of reproductive technology procedures performed;
(iii) a record of embryo research conducted; and
(iv) registers of reproductive technology centres, embryo research centres and
storage facilities.

Comparing December 1995 with December 1994, both re-exports and imports continued to show significant growth, while domestic exports registered a marginal increase.
These are shown in the external trade figures for December released today (Friday) by the Census and Statistics Department.
The value of total exports (comprising re-exports and domestic exports) increased by $13.2 billion or 13% over a year earlier to $115.3 billion in December 1995.
Within total exports, the value of re-exports, at $95.2 billion in December this year, was $13.1 billion or 16% higher. The value of domestic exports, at $20.2 billion, increased by $34 million or 0.2%.
