Tenders for flood protection works invited
The Territory Development Department's New Territories North Development Office is inviting tenders for village flood protection works at Tsung Pak Long and Tai Tau Leng in Sheung Shui.
The village flood protection scheme is part of the continuing development programme for the Fanling/Sheung Shui New Town,
The works mainly comprise the construction of flood protection wall and embankment, a flood storage pond and pumping station, drainage channels and associated footpaths and maintenance accesses, reprovisioning of a footbridge, and landscaping.
Works are expected to begin in December for completion in 30 months.
A notice of invitation for tenders was contained in the Government Gazette published today (Friday).
Tender forms and further particulars may be obtained from the office of Maunsell Consultants Asia Limited, 4 Fung Wo Lane, Wo Che, Sha Tin.
The tender closing date is noon on November 24.

Reprovisioning of school for physically handicapped children
The Architectural Services Department is inviting tenders for the reprovisioning of Hong Kong Christian Services Pui Oi School for Physically Handicapped Children in Tuen Mun.
Works include the construction of a two-storey school for physically handicapped children together with associated drainage and external works.

(Friday).
