In December, the Committee will organise a large scale photo exhibition displaying the impact of AIDS on mankind both locally and globally.
The event will be a major item to mark the 10th anniversary of the report of the first AIDS case in the territory.
The Committee will continue to make use of various media, including TV and radio, newspaper and magazine, poster and leaflet, and bus advertisement in support of the campaign.

Findings of the 1994-95 Pay Trend Survey
The Pay Trend Survey Committee met on May 19 to consider the findings of the 1994-95 Pay Trend Survey. The meeting was chaired by Mr Nicholas S C Chiu, who was appointed in his capacity as a member of the Standing Commission on Civil Service Salaries and Conditions of Service.
The survey, which was conducted by the Pay Survey and Research Unit, measured pay trends in 69 companies covering some 120,000 employees during the period April 2, 1994, to April 1, 1995. It took into account increases relating to cost of living, general changes in market rates, company performance, merit and inscale increment, in accordance with the long established methodology approved by the Administration.
The Committee accepted the findings of the survey which indicate that the following average pay increases have been awarded by the surveyed companies:
10.66% for employees earning less than $11,315 per month;
11.36% for employees earning between $11,315 and $34,690 per month;
11.38% for employees earning between $34,691 and $69,060 per month.
