ITEMS FOR WHICH FUNDING HAS NOT YET BEEN EARMARKED
Funding has not yet been earmarked for the following measures recommended in ECR5 -
(a)
(b)
(c)
bringing all schools as far as possible up to the
the latest standard of provision in respect of classrooms and special rooms, if necessary by reprovisioning the school into a modern building (para 2.36);
providing additional non-teaching rooms for staff and student activities (para 2.45).
capital funding for campus development of the Institute of Education.
Funding has also not yet been earmarked for the following additional recommendation made by the Commission in the light of comments during the public consultation on ECR5

(d) providing primary schools, where possible, with a school
library/resource centre.
