FOR NON-COMPLIANCE WITH PERMIT CONDITIONS.

AND

THE REMAINING 13 CASES WERE THE SUBJECT OF VERBAL WARNINGS THE CONTRACTORS TOOK IMMEDIATE STEPS TO REMEDY THE BREACH OF THE PERMITS.

IN ADDITION, 478 CONSTRUCTION NOISE PERMITS WERE ISSUED FOR PERCUSSIVE PILING ACTIVITIES LAST YEAR.

LDC OFFERS MARKET PRICES TO AFFECTED PROPERTY OWNERS

THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (LDC) OFFERS NO LESS THAN CURRENT MARKET VALUE OF THE PROPERTY INTERESTS TO OWNERS AFFECTED WING LOK STREET/QUEEN'S ROAD CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT.

HE SAID 30 OUT OF THE ORIGINAL 66 INTERESTS REMAINED ΤΟ BE ACQUIRED AFTER ALMOST THREE YEARS OF NEGOTIATIONS.

HE SAID THE LDC ALSO INVITED THE OWNERS TO FIND THEIR OWN VALUERS TO ASSESS THE VALUE OF THE PROPERTIES, WITH PROFESSIONAL FEES TO BE COVERED BY THE EVENTUAL PURCHASE AMOUNT, BUT THIS CAME TO NO AVAIL.
