Mr WONG Chung-hin, JP

Mr Wong is the senior partner in a firm of solicitors and was President of the Law Society of Hong Kong from 1977 to 1979. He was a member of the Companies Law Revision Committee and a founder member of the Securities Advisory Council,

Council, which later became the Securities Commission. Mr Wong was Chairman of the Securities Commission from 1986 to 1989, and played a key role in its evolution into the present Securities and Futures Commission. He has also served on the Councils of the Hong Kong and City Polytechnics.

The Honourable CHUNG Pui-1am, JP

Mr Chung became a member of the Sham Shui Po District Board in 1983. In 1985 he was elected to the Legislative Council from the Sham Shui Po Electoral College Constituency. He was re-elected in 1988, and is a member of the Public Works Sub-Committee and the Public Accounts Committee of the Legislative Council, and Convenor of the OMELCO standing panel on Constitutional Development. He has a long and wide ranging record of public and community service in Hong Kong.

Mr James Kerr FINDLAY, QC, JP

Mr Findlay came to Hong Kong in 1980 and worked in the Law Drafting Division until 1984. In 1984 he was appointed Solicitor General ànd ная involved in а heavy workload of legal and constitutional matters connected with the future of Hong Kong. Не also processed a large number of complex court cases, including several Privy Council cases. In May 1989 he took up an acting appointment as a Deputy High Court Judge. He returned to the Legal Department in April 1990 and is now the Law Draftsman.

Dr Ronald LEUNG Ding-bong, JP

Dr Leung joined the Urban Council in 1984. Since his appointment he has been deeply involved in health and environmental hygiene matters and was Chairman of the Urban Council's Environmental Hygiene Select Committee from 1986 to 1989. He has been Chairman of the Council's Public Health Select Committee since its formation in 1989 and was elected Chairman of the Council in 1991. Dr Leung's extensive community service dates back to 1964. He has been a leading figure in Hong Kong's anti-smoking movement, and is Chairman of the Hong Kong Council on Smoking and Health.
