Mr CHAN Tak-ming
Mr Chan joined the Marine Department in 1952 and was promoted to Engine Crew Supervisor in 1982. He has been commended three times by the Director of Marine for his part in a salvage operation and for his contributions in improving efficiency in the Government fleet. He retired in November 1990.
MÌ CHIA Kian-kok
Mr Chia has worked for the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company for 33 years and has been mainly involved in providing aircraft engineering support to the British Forces in Hong Kong. He has worked on a wide variety of military aircraft and is now a senior inspector.
Mr FAN Tak-cheung
Mr Fan joined the Urban Services Department in 1965 as a labourer. He has worked in slaughterhouses for his entire career and was promoted to Butcher in 1976. He retired in September 1990.
Mr FOK Yat-sang
Mr Fok spent 22 years in the Royal Navy and retired in 1972 as a Petty Officer. He then joined the Ministry of Defence Civil Service and has spent 18 years in the Contracts Section of the Base Engineering Department at HMS TAMAR. He has just retired.
Mr HO Koon-kwan
Mr Ho has served for 30 years in the Water Supplies Department and holds the rank of Waterworks Inspector II. In addition to his normal duties he has had the special responsibility for liaison with the Chinese water
water authority on operational matters. He 18 due to retire shortly.
Mr LEUNG Chi-keung
Mr Leung has worked in the Education Department
