THE TRANSPORT COMPLAINTS UNIT (TCU) OF THE TRANSPORT COMMITTEE (TAC) RECEIVED A TOTAL OF 9,908 COMPLAINTS IN DECREASE OF FOUR PER CENT COMPARED WITH THE 1988-89 FIGURES.

MOST OF THESE COMPLAINTS WERE ABOUT FREQUENCY OF BUS OR ROUTEINGS, PARTICULARLY TO NEW TOWNS.
