Mrs WONG CHAN Kwai-hing

Mrs Wong was one of the first woman officers to join the Hong Kong Police Force in 1952. She served in the Uniform Branch and the Criminal Investigation Department until 1977, when she transferred to the Marine Islands District. In 1979 she became Junior Police Call Liaison Officer and held this post until her retirement from the Force at the end of last year.

Mr WONG Wai-chi

Mr Wong entered the Hong Kong Police Force in 1960 and spent his first 11 years with the Uniform Branch in a variety of postings. In 1972 he transferred to criminal investigation duties and has served principally with the Narcotics Bureau.

Mr WONG Yuk-kei

Mr Wong has been with the Royal Hong Kong Police for over 27 and served for six years in the Uniform Branch before transferring to the Criminal Investigation Department, where he has remained. He has been active in the Junior Police Officers' Association, having been Treasurer of the Association and Chairman of his regional branch.

Fire Services Department

Mr CHEUNG Kam-tong

Mr Cheung has been a member of the Fire Services Department since 1960 and was promoted to his present rank of Principal Fireman in 1980. He has spent his entire service on firefighting duties in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories.

After nine years at sea in the merchant joined the Fireboat Section of the Hong Kong Fire Services in 1962. He has served in the Marine and Outlying Islands Division ever since and has attended most of the major ship fires in Hong Kong over the last 27 years. He was promoted to Commander, Marine Division, in 1987.
