THE FOUR OVERSEAS MUSICIANS ARE MR JOHN CURRO AND MR RUSSELL HAMMOND FROM AUSTRALIA, MR DETLEF HAHN FROM THE UNITED KINGDOM AND TIMOTHY LANDAUER FROM THE UNITED STATES.

A LABOUR DEPARTMENT SPOKESMAN EXPLAINED THAT BEFORE THE UP то EXTENSION, THE FUND COVERED ONLY FOUR MONTHS' ARREARS OF WAGES $8,000 AND SEVEN DAYS' WAGES IN LIEU OF NOTICE UP TO $2,000,
UNDER THE
"WITH THE ENACTMENT OF THE LAW, EMPLOYEES OF INSOLVENT EMPLOYERS CAN ALSO APPLY TO THE FUND FOR SEVERANCE PAYMENT EMPLOYMENT ORDINANCE, SUBJECT TO A MAXIMUM OF $4,000, HE SAID.

"APPLICATIONS FOR SEVERANCE PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE WITHIN FOUR
MONTHS AFTER TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT.

THE SPOKESMAN ALSO REMINDED
THAT WAGES SHOULD BE WITHIN SEVEN DAYS AFTER THE EXPIRY OF THE LAST DAY OF THE WAGE
PAID PERIOD.
THAT THEY FURTHERMORE, IF EMPLOYERS DO NOT REASONABLY BELIEVE
MUST NOT ENTER COULD PAY WAGES, THEY
