THE ESTATE WILL INCLUDE THREE TRIDENT-3 AND TWO TRIDENT-4 BLOCKS ON UPPER PLATFORMS AND 11 LINEAR BLOCKS ON LOWER PLATFORMS, WHICH WILL ULTIMATELY PROVIDE 5,474 FLATS FOR 20,800 PEOPLE.

OTHER FACILITIES WILL INCLUDE A PRIMARY SCHOOL, TWO FIVE-ROOM KINDERGARTENS, COMMUNITY CENTRE, CHILDREN AND YOUTH CENTRE. SHELTERED HOUSING AND A HOME-CUM-CARE UNIT FOR THE ELDERLY, RECREATION AREAS, A PARK AND TWO MULTI-STOREY CARPARKS.

A MODESTLY SIZED SHOPPING CENTRE WILL ALSO BE PROVIDED WITH SHOPS ACCESSIBLE TO THE ESTATE VIA A LANDSCAPE COURT TO FORM A LINK BETWEEN THE TWO PLATFORM LEVELS.

A PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY WITH FIVE LIFTS AND FOUR ESCALATORS WILL OVERCOME THE 60-METRE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PLATFORM LEVELS AND ADJACENT DEVELOPMENTS.

OF THE 269 PEOPLE FROM 81 FAMILIES,. THOSE ELIGIBLE WERE GIVEN PERMANENT HOMES EITHER IN THE NEW TSUI WAN ESTATE IN CHAI WAN OR IN CASUAL VACANCIES IN EASTERN DISTRICT.

THE REMAINING 11,120 PEOPLE IN 3,400 FAMILIES WILL BE CLEARED IN THE LATER PHASE SCHEDULED FOR COMPLETION
