The fixed press position is by the waterfront next to the pontoon. Media representatives are requested to be in position by
2.45 pm.
(3) Press Boat
The boat will depart from HMS Tamar. Those who wish to use this facility are requested to assemble at the main gate of HMS
Tamar at 2.15 pm.
(4) Queen's Pier/Edinburgh Place
There will be two fixed press positions, "A" and "B", both of which will provide views of the inspection of the Guard of Honour, introduction to leading members of the community, and the eye-dotting ceremony and lion dance, Position "A" is under the canopy of Queen's Pier and will provide the additional view of Sir David disembarking. Position "B" is on the roof of the covered walkway of the City Hall fronting Edinburgh Place, representatives should assemble in the ground floor lift lobby of the City Hall High Block at 2.30 pm. Those who wish to cover the lion dance may stay on or reassemble in the lift lobby at 4.45 pm. They will be escorted to the press positions by GIS officers.
(5) City Hall Foyer

There will be a fixed position at the bar area for those who wish to cover the entry of Sir David to the Concert Hall. approach to the Hall will be lined by members of youth groups. Media representatives should assemble in the ground floor lift lobby of the City Hall High Block at 2.45 pm. GIS officers will be present to provide escort. After Sir David has entered the Concert Hell, they will be able to join the press position in the City Hall
Restaurant.
