Motorists are advised to park or leave the carparks before the implementation of the special traffic arrangements and should be prepared to accept that their cars cannot leave the carparks until the cessation of the road closures,
On the following day (October 22), the Queen will visit Lung Hang Estate, New Town Plaza in Shatin in the morning before attending the race meeting at the Shatin Racecourse. Traffic in the area is likely to be affected.
Highlight of the second day's events will be the Royal Fireworks
in the harbour at 8 pm.
To enable members of the public to fully enjoy the fireworks display, many roads on both sides of the harbour, including a long stretch of the Island Eastern Corridor, all roads south of Granville Road in Tsim Sha Tsui and some in Central and Wan Chai will be closed.

Pedestrian Precinct in Central
Hong Kong Island
The pedestrian precinct in Central involving the closure of Chater road between Peddar Street and Jackson Road and Ice House Street between Queen's Road Central and Connaught Road Central to all vehicular traffic will be implemented from 7 am to 12 midnight.
Temporary Closure of Roads Commencing from 6 pm
All uphill vehicles will be prohibited from entering Peak Road beyond the Magazine Gap Road Junction except Police/emergency vehicles, franchised buses, PLB 'maxicabs' private omnibus, taxis and local residents' vehicles displaying a police label.
All Closed Road Permits will be invalid during the road closure period. Peak residents requiring access to the area during the closure period are advised to contact the Peak Police Station to obtain a police label.
Temporary Closure of Roads Commencing from 6:30 pm
