Mr LEE Chee

Mr Lee began his service with the Resettlement

Department as a Labourer in 1953, and has worked his way up through the ranks to his present rank of Foreman.

At times of fires and landslips, which affect large numbers

of squatters, he is to the forefront in organising

registration and relief.

Mr YIP LO

Prisons

Mr Yip first joined the/Service in January 1947 and was promoted to his present rank in February 1973. Mr Yip has a record of over 36 years' exemplary service and is due to retire from the service in July 1984.

Mr CHAN Ping-cheung

Mr Chan joined the/Service in August 1951 and was promoted to Assistant Officer I in February 1973. His performance has been of a very high standard particularly during his service in the Tai Lam Drug Addiction Treatment Centre.

Mr CHAN Po-cheong

For 31 years Mr Chan has rendered loyal and most efficient service as a volunteer officer in the

Auxiliary Medical Services. His performance of duty in past years in times of cholera outbreaks, influxes of refugees, typhoons and natural disasters, civil disturbances, etc. when the AMS was mobilised, was always noteworthy.
