Mr CHAN Yip-kun
Mr Chan joined the Hong Kong Police Reserve in December 1953 and on amalgamation of the Reserve with the Hong Kong Special Constabulary in 1959 hecame a member of the Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force and was appointed Chief Inspector (Aux) in Nov. 1981. At present Mr Chan is second in command Yaumati (Aux) Police formation.
Mr CHAN Shing-cheong
Following 10 years full time service in the Public Works Dept., Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force and Hong Kong Defence Force, Assistant Divisional Officer Chan joined the Fire Services in 1962 and has served in the Transport/ Workshop Division since then. His work under dangerous conditions has on many occasions been instrumental in keeping equipment functioning efficiently and so contributing a significantly to the saving of lives and property from fire.
Mr LI Sik-tim
Principal Fireman LI Sik-tim joined the Hong kong Fire Brigade as a fireman 35 years ago and rose through
the ranks to the most senior non officer rank. Serving consistently with loyalty, courage and determination of a high order he has risked a great deal for the protection of the lives and property of the people of Hong Kong.
Mr CHEUNG Ping
Principal Fireman Cheung Ping has served with skill, courage and determination throughout his 26 years of service and his above normal performance, leadership and determination at many fires and emergencies has been an example to his subordinates and instrumental in the saving of many lives and much property from fire. He has also served in the underwater diving unit and has taken part or commanded many underwater rescue operations at considerable personal risk.
