Mr CHAN Pui-wan

Mr Chan joined the Electrical & Mechanical Office of Public Works Dept as an Apprentice in 1945 and eventually transferred to the Education Department in 1972 as a Workshop Instructor in which role he was particulary effective.

Mr CHEUNG Ping-leung

Mr Cheung is reaching the end of a career of thirty years of commitment to the public service in Hong Kong. has shown considerable dedication to his work in the Operations Division of the Housing Department.

Mr CHIK Kwai-ting

Mr Chik joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force as a Police Constable in July 1951. He later transferred to the Immigration Service where his loyalty and devotion to duty have been of a high order.

Mrs HO LAI Pui-yee

Mrs Ho joined the Government service in 1955 as a temporary clerk and was promoted to Senior Clerical Officer in Nov. 1978. She has served in the Registration of Persons Division of Immigration Dept for 28 years. Her work in connection with the introduction of the new Identity Card system was particularly praiseworthy.

MY FUNG Shiu-kit

Mr Fung was first appointed to the civil service in April 1956 and transfrred to the Crown Lands and Survey Office of the Public Works Dept a year later. He has been of considerable assistance to senior and junior officers alike and, though his Chairmanship of the Lands and Works Group of Departments Sports Committee, has contributed immensely to staff morale.

Mrs Jean BOLTON

Mrs Bolton served as a Confidential Assistant, in particular for 15 years in the Quartering Office where her performance of duty was always of a high order.
