Mr Arthur Ian DIAMOND
Mr Diamond joined the Hong Kong Government as
Archivist in 1971, having had 16 years previous experience as an official Archivist in Australia, Fiji and the Western
Pacific High Commission. He was the first Archivist to be appointed in Hong Kong and has been successful in establishing
a modern and efficient Public Records Office which now
provides a very valuable service to both the Hong Kong
Government and the public of Hong Kong.

Major IP Tai-tung

Major Ip Tai-tung joined the Regiment in June 1953 and rose through the ranks until he was commissioned in October 1970. He was promoted to his present rank in June 1979. His work with the Junior Leaders Squadron has
been particularly outstanding.

Mr LIN Teh-min
Mr Lin joined the public service in 1951 as a clerk. He joined the Building Supervisor grade as an 'Assistant Building Supervisor' in 1969 and was subsequently promoted Building Supervisor Class II and Class I in 1971 and 1978 respectively.
Mr WONG Mang-kuen
Mr Wong has served with ability in an important section of the Urban Services Dept. for the past 32 years.
He has also been a volunteer member of the Civil Aid
Services for 29 years.
Mr LEUNG Yee-kau
Mr Leung joined the Civil Service as a Labourer in 1947 and has risen through the ranks to his present rank of Senior Foreman, Public Cleansing. He has been repeatedly commended for his exemplary performance by his senior
officers.
