Er Henry KI' Hong-cheong
Mr Henry KU is a Chief Executive Officer in the
Hong Kong Government, and as a member of the Refugee Division of the Security Branch played a significant role in dealing with the influx of boat refugees from Vietnam.
Mrs Teresa LAM WONG Shiu-shuk
Mrs Lam is a distinguished member of a distinguished
family. She has a record of community service with many social welfare organisations, most notably perhaps the Po Leung Kuk whose Board she joined in 1976, becoming Chairman in 1982. Mrs Lam's chairmanship of the Kuk has seen impressive
progress in the planning of new projects.
Mr LUI Che-woo
Mr Lui is engaged in a wide range of businesses in
the building and construction industry of Hong Kong, and
has been responsible for a number of technological innovations
in that industry. He became a member of the Tung Wah Hospitals
Board of Directors in 1977, and was Chairman of the Board in
1981/82, during which time he made a great contribution to the Group's development.
Professor Douglas Sutherland PAYNE, JE
Professor Payne has just retired from his post as
Head of the Chemistry Department in Hong Kong University.
He was a member of the Hong Kong Examinations Authority from
1977 onwards.
Mr Kevin Maxwell SINCLAIR
Mr Sinclair has worked in Hong Kong as a journalist
since 1967, first with the Star and subsequently with the Hong Kong Standard. He joined the South China Morning Post
in 1972 as News Editor, and has since become Assistant Editor
of the South China Morning Post.
