Mr Henderson joined the Hong Kong Government in 1962 after previous service in Kenya. He has been Commissioner for Labour since 1978 and will shortly become Secretary for Education and Manpower.

The Honourable Ian Francis Cluny MACPHERSON, IP

Mr Macpherson joined the Hong Kong Government in 1962 after previous service in Tanganyika. He has been Commissioner for Transport, Director of Administration and Management

Services and is now Regional Secretary for the New Territories.

Mr Oliver Richard SIDDLE

Mr Siddle joined the British Council in 1961, and has been the Council's Representative in Hong Kong for two years,

Mr. Frederick Langtree WALKER_JP

Mr Walker is Managing Director of the Hong Kong Telephone Company Limited. He first came to Hong Kong in

1974. He was a member of the Standing Commission on Civil

Service Salaries and Conditions of Service from 1979-82, and

has been a member of several other boards and commissions.

Professor Leonard Kenneth YOUNG, JP

Professor Young joined Hong Kong University as Lecturer in History in 1960. He became Head of the History Department in 1968. He was Dean of the Faculty of Arts from 1973 to 1976,

and was appointed Fro-Vice-Chancellor in 1977.

Mr Fatrick Joseph CLANCY, QPM, CPM

Mr Clancy recently retired from the Royal Hong Kong

Police Force. He has been Director of Criminal Investigation

since 1979, with the rank of Senior Assistant Commissioner,

having joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in 1952 as a

Sub-Inspector.
