Mr. LAM Hor-chung

Mr. Lam was Vice-Chairman of the Sheung Wan (Central) Area Committee in 1977 and has been the Chairman since 1978. He is prominent in promoting recreation and sporting activities in his district and has taken special interest in improving law and order. He was a member of the Board of Education in 1978/79, of the Public Advisory Group on Film Censorship in 1977/79 and is currently a member of the Agricultural Products and Marine Fish Scholarship Fund Advisory Committees.

thus helped to ensure that Cantonese opera remains a popular form

of entertainment.

Mr. Lamh is a dedicated and capable community leader in

Kwun Tong.

President of Kwun Tong Community Development Association, Vice-President of the District Kaifong Welfare Association and former President of the Rotary Club in Kwun Tong, he has contributed not only by making generous donations but by playing a leading part in initiating and organising community projects.

Mr. LAU Hon-kit

Mr. Lau has been village representative of San Tin since 1972, Vice-Chairman of the Rural Committee since 1974 and a member of the Sha Tin District Advisory Board since 1977. He is Chairman of the Sports and Recreation Sub-Committee of the Board and is active in the promotion of youth and sports activities in particular and in community building generally.
