Mr. FONG Yee-cheuk
Mr. Fong rose from the ranks and was appointed an Inspector in 1973. Prior to transfer to his present duties in the Force Welfare Division, he was with the Uniform Branch where he had received three Commanding Officers' Commendations.
He
understands the rank and file and takes a keen interest in their personal, domestic and financial problems, and helps them obtain satisfactory solutions to these problems. His long experience in the Force and good public relations have enabled him to assist in setting up new messing and recreational facilities and in improving and expanding existing ones.
Mr. HO Kar-chu
Mr. Ho joined the Complaints Against Police Office in 1973, charged with the detailed investigation of complaints of alleged malpractices made by members of the public against members of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force. He tackled these duties with vigour, tact and enthusiasm, and his work has been commended by the Police Legal Adviser on more than one occasion. to be an impartial, thorough and effective leader.
Mr. HUNG Chiu-suen
He has proved
Mr. Hung joined as a Probationary Inspector and advanced During his career to his present rank of Chief Inspector in 1971. he has served in the Uniformed Branch, Special Branch and presently in the Narcotics Bureau. In his eight years in the Bureau he has displayed a high degree of professionalism and detective ability; he has consistently produced accurate and high grade information which has been instrumental in the detection of over 26 heroin factories and the arrests of large numbers of high level narcotics dealers and chemists. He has also been responsible for a large number of other narcotics arrests and seizures by police, many of which were cases of importation into Hong Kong. Mr. Hung has received three Commissioner's Commendations.
