Mr. IP Fook
Mr. IP Fook was first appointed in the Government Service
as a Messenger at the Victoria Public Mortuary in 1946. He has worked there throughout his service and was promoted to Mortuary Attendant in 1957. Mr. Ip has rendered loyal and devoted service
to the Department and has assisted in the training of new recruits in autopsy duties.
Mr. KWOK Ying-nin
Mr. Kwok joined the General Clerical Class of the Hong Kong Government in 1954. He was promoted from GCS III to GCS II
in 1957, and to GCS I in 1969. In 1974 he was appointed Senior
Clerical Officer in the Finance Registry of the Government
Secretariat Departmental Administration Unit, a post he has held
since. By virtue of his experience in the Government accounting field, he is well versed with nearly every aspect of its procedures
and system.
Mr. LAI Wing-kay
Mr. LAI Wing-kay has given 18 years service to Police
telecommunications. For the last 6 years he has been working as the senior man in the Special Projects Section involving him in the evaluation, construction and maintenance of equipment besides the training of CID officers and others in the use of it. He was commended in 1979 by his Major Formation Commander. In addition to his normal CID duties, he has had to shoulder work arising in connection with illegal immigrants.
Mr. Aloysius LAU
Mr. Lau joined the Prisons Department as a Telephone Operator in 1951 and throughout his service his interest, professional ability and devotion to duty often under trying conditions have earned him the respect of staff at all levels. He was awarded the Colonial Prison Service Medal in 1969 and
the First Clasp to the Medal in 1976.
