The Honourable Piers JACOBS, JP
Mr. Jacobs joined the Hong Kong Government service in 1962 as a Legal Assistant. He was appointed Assistant Registrar General in 1968 and Registrar General in 1976. Hong Kong has developed enormously as a financial and commercial centre and the Registrar General's Department has responded positively and with success to the challenges thrown up by this continuous development. He is presently acting as Secretary for Economic Services.
