Mr Geoffrey David CARTER, CPM
Mr Carter joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in 1955
and reached his present rank of assistant Commissioner in 1978.
He is Deputy Director of the Special Branch.
He received the Governor's Commendation for calm and
steadfast leadership during the civil disturbances in 1966 and the
Colonial Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 1975.

Mr Brian Henry BOYTON
Over the past 14 years Mr Boyton has served as a Sub-
Divisional Inspector in various Police divisions. He has been
particularly noteworthy for his painstaking training of junior
Inspectorate officers in Uniform Branch work.

Mr Garth Stopher BURROWS
Mr Burrows has served in various Branches of the Force
and as Aide-de-Camp to His Excellency the Governor. In 1977 he
was appointed Sub-Divisional Inspector (Officer Commanding) Ta Kwu
Ling Sub-Division of the Frontier Division,
In April, May and June 1979 some 35 000 illegal immigrants
from China, the majority of whom crossed over the land frontier,
were arrested.
