appointed Receptionist in 1979. Since his appointment es a Hall
Porter, Mr Lo has been stationed in the ground floor lobby of the
Central Government Offices Building, manning the reception and
enquiries counter where he has shown exceptional conscientiousness
and courtesy in carrying out his duties.

Mrs NG Muk-kah
NG Muk-kah, known to the Royal Navy as Jenny, started her
Side Party in 1928, painting ships of the Royal and Commonwealth
Navies in Hong Kong. She has never accepted any payment and has only
accepted items of scrap from the ships as her reward.
Her workmanship has always been of the highest standard and
she has shown justified pride in her work. All who have served with
the Royal or Commonwealth Navies in Hong Kong remember Jenny with
affection.

Mr PANG Kwei-cheong
Mr Pang joined the Hong Kong Government in 1960. He was
promoted to Clerical Officer I in 1975.
During 1979, the Registration of Persons Office, where
Mr Pang worked, came under very great pressure because of the influx
of immigrants from China. Er Feng worked with exemplary diligence
and showed great patience and dedication during a particularly
difficult period.
