He has contributed significantly to the improvement in
industrial training through membership of the Hong Kong Training
Council. He also served on the Council of the Hong Kong
Productivity Centre and is a Past President of the Hong Kong Society
of Engineers (now the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers).

Mr WONG Sik-kong
For the past 20 years, Mr Wong has served the Kowloon City
community. As a Vice-President of the Kowloon City Kaifong
Association and a Director of the Lok Sin Tong, Mr Wong has a long
record of service in welfare activities. He was largely responsible
for the establishment of the Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society's first
secondary school and for extending the Society's activities to the
elderly and the young.
Mr Wong has been helping and supporting community service
projects sponsored by the City District Office (Kowloon City) and
has set an example to other district community leaders.

Mr YU Pun-chak, CPM
Mr Yu joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in 1951 and
was promoted to his present rank of Senior Superintendent in 1977.
He has also served in the Special Branch and the Criminal
Investigation Department.
Mr Yu has given long, loyal and conscientious service and
would have merited further advancement but for a serious illness
which has led to his premature retirement.
