Mr. TANG Shiu-shun
Mr. Tang is a member of the large indigenous Tang family who
have been farmers and local leaders for generations in Kạn Tin in the
New Territories: He was first appointed in 1947 as a Motor Driver and
thereafter earned a series of promotions froL Driver to Nurseryman and
ultimately Field Assistant. He has made a particularly valuable
contribution in promulgating technical advice and services in the
furthering of local agricultural development, with particular expertise
in the highly specialised propagation of fruit varieties.

Mr. TSE Chi
Mr. TSE Chi first joined the Buildings Ordinance Office in
1938 as a messenger. He was promoted to Office Attendant in 1957,
retired in 1972 at age 57 and was promptly re-employed as a messenger.
Throughout his 37 years with the Buildings Ordinance Office
Mr. Tse has given exemplary service. He has provided a service to
staff of all ranks which they have appreciated and which has earned
him their respect and affection.

Mr. WONG Kong
Mr. Wong Kong joined the service in 1947 as a Temporary Clerk.
In 1970 he became the first District Communications Engineer in Marine
District and in 1973 he was transferred to Kowloon as the District
Communications Engineer and promoted to Police Telecommunications
Assistant I the same year.
