Mr. Peter YEUNG
Mr. Yeung was elected a Village Representative of Yeung Uk
Village in 1950, Vice-Chairman of Tsuen Wan Rural Committee in 1970-74,
and from 1974, he has been Chairman, Tsuen Wan Rural Committee; he was
elected Second Vice-Chairman of the N.T. Heung Yee Kuk in May 1978. He
is a member of the Tsuen Wan District Advisory Board and has given
substained and valuable advice and assistance with development work in
the New Town.
During the Second World War, he joined the British Military
Mission in Kukong and after the war, he served for a short period with
the Intelligence Unit of No. 44 Commando.

Mr. David YIP Yuk-pui
He was
Mr. Yip joined the Hong Kong Government as an Executive Officer
in 1960 and was posted to the Commerce and Industry Department (now the
Trade, Industry and Custons Department) in the same year.
appointed as an Assistant Trade Officer in 1963 and was promoted to
Senior Industry Officer in 1973.
Mr. Yip has served loyally and with distinction in the specialist
field of Industry Officers. His attention to detail, his dedication to
the job in hand and his consistently hard work have materially helped
the development of the Trade Investigation Branch of the Department and
improved its efficiency.

Mr. LAU Sai-yan, J.P.
Mr. Lau's interests and activities are territory-wide with the
main emphasis on weaving, textiles, and benevolent work for his own
/Chiu Chow.....
