Mrs. June Patricia Pickford

Mrs. Pickford joined the service as a Women Confidential Assistant in 1956. She resigned in 1958 and was re-appointed as Secretary/Stenographer in 1961. She has been working as Secretary to the Financial Secretary continuously since 1962 and was appointed to her present rank of Personal Assistant in August 1971.

Mrs. Kitty Siu Fon-gun

Mrs. Siu has been Chairman of the Fund Raising Campaign Committee of the Community Chest. She is also founder and Chairman of the Hong Kong Society for the Aged, Chairman of the Chung Shak Hei Home for the Aged in Cheung Chau, Chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese Women's Club, Chairman of the Kowloon Women's Welfare Club and Vice-Chairman of Po Leung Kuk.

She has been an active organiser and strong supporter of many welfare organisations, such as Caritas, New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation

Association, Cheshire Hone, Maryknoll Medical and felafare Association for

many years.

Sister Annie Margareth Skau Berntsen

Sister Annie Skau was born in Norway, and after training as a nurse went to China in 1938 as a Lutheran missionary nurse in Shensi province.

She returned to Norway in 1951 and came to Hong Kong in 1953 to work in a

church clinic at Rennie's Mill, a camp for refugees from China.

She was the driving spirit in the establishment of the Haven of

Hope T.B. Sanatorium near Rennie's Mill, which has developed over the years

into a hospital for 300 patients. With financial support from the Norwegian

Refugee Council she was also responsible for the development of the Fridtj

of Nansen Rehabilitation Institute and the Sunnyside Home for Children.

She recently retired to Norway.

Mr. David Chen

This officer has served the Crown since 1945 when he was employed

as Joint No. 1 Chinese Assistant by the Information Department of the

/British.....
