Mr. CHIK Kwan-fu
Mr. Chik joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in 1951. He is
at present a Chief Inspector of Police.
As Police Community Relations Officer in Kwun Tong since 1974.
Mr. Chik has successfully established a high level of rapport with local
community leaders and other Government departments.
His efforts have
resulted in the establishment of a Junior Police Call Clubhouse for some
30,000 members in Kwun Tong District. He is also responsible for liaison
with about 280 Mutual Aid Committees and the training of patrol teams in
various housing estates, and the initiation of the Duke of Edinburgh Award
Scheme for young people in his district.
Mr. Chik is a popular figure and is particularly well liked and
respected by the younger officers for his part in organising welfare and
recreational functions.

Mr. Tommy Kimmen CHOY
Mr. Choy joined the Auxiliary Police Force in 1962.
As Superintendent Headquarters (Auxiliary), he has been instrumental
in the re-structuring of the command, producing a more balanced and manageable
structure, a greater degree of flexibility and a more efficient distribution
and deployment of men.
In 1973 when the Auxiliary Force became more involved in routine
constabulary duties, and members were deployed alongside the regular Force
on crime prevention duties, Kr. Choy played an important part in the
associated re-organisation.
