1. Lam joined the Urban Services Department as a Motor Driver
in 1947.
He was promoted through the ranks and appointed Overseer in
1972. He now works in Tuen Long, and is Chairman of the U.S.D. Kowloon
Workers Unicn, and village representative of Sun Wai Village in San Tin.

Mr. Lau has worked in the Judiciary as a Clerk since 1953.
