Mr. Chan has a long, and distinguished record of community.

He has played a leading role in the organisation of recreation
and sports programmes, including prccessions for the Festival of Hong Kong,
the Royal Visit in 1975 and Silver Jubilee Procession, and sponsorship
of sporting teams and events.
He has made a significant contribution to the scouting movement,
and is a keen supporter of cultural events, particularly Cantonese opera.

The Honourable Miss Lydia Dunn, J.P.
Miss Dunn has had a highly successful career in a very
competitive field.
She has played a leading part in the Hong Kong Trade Development
Council's Ready-to-Wear Festivals, was a member of the Committee of
Enquiry into the Hong Kong Telephone Co., and is a member of a number of
other boards and committees, including the Textiles Advisory Board,
Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation and Hong Kong Management
Association.
Miss Dunn has been an Unofficial Member of Legislative Council
since September 1976.

Mr. Barrie Charles Gane
Mr. Gane joined the U.K. Diplomatio Service in 1960
Following
service in Laos, Sarawak, Warsaw, Uganda and London, he has been attached
to Headquarters, British Forces in Hong Kong since June 1977.
