FLYOVER FOR STUBBS ROAD ROUNDABOUT
Plans to build a flyover at the Stubbs Road roundabout are being
H
prepared by the Public Works Department.
As the proposed undertaking may affect residents in the area, a
notice under the Streets (Alteration) Ordinance was published in the Government
Gazette today.
The notice specifies that objections to the proposals should be
submitted to the Director of Public Works before October 30, 1977 and any
claim for compensation should be made by November 30, 1977.
Note To Editors:
VILLAGE RESITE HOUSES
The Government has built 44 village resite houses in North Kwai
Chung to rehouse families who have vacated their private houses in their area
:
to make way for a $130 million public housing estate.
The families will soon be moving into their three-storey houses
which have the basic facilities of a modern home.
A tour has been arranged for the press to inspect these modern
village resite houses on Monday (October 3) morning.
You are cordially invited to send representatives to attend the tour.
Press transport will be provided. A Government van AM 2088 will
leave from behind the Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office at 9:30 a.m. on Monday to
וי
take press representatives to and later back from North Kwai Chung.
