hrs. Edith LI, J.P.

irs. Li has been the Honorary Director of Hong Kong Red Cross for

seven years,

She has been a riember of the Red Cross Branch Committee sing-

1965 and has spent long hours of devoted service in assisting many unfortunate

people who have become the victims of some calamity or tragedy in Hong Kong.

In addition, she has been instrumental in organizing relief assistance for

the victims of disasters abroad.

Mr. Francisco Xavier CTTIRO

Ir. Honteiro was first appointed to the Government in 1955 as a

Land Bailiff, and was promoted to Senior Land Assistant in 1968 and Clier

Land Executive iz 1976. He has also served in the Auxiliary Police Force

for 16 years.

ronteiro is an outstanding officer in both his public and

voluntary duties.

Mr. POON Kwong-lau

ir. Poon joined the Treasury in 1941 and has given 36 years of

devoted service to the department. He is due to retire this year.

Mr. Lawrence dred PUTTINGER

ir. Pottinger joined the. Government in 1970 after retiring from

the Army as a lajor in the Brigade of Gurkhas.

Mr. Pottinger has given exceptional service to the Protocol Section

of Hong Kong Government.
