Mr. Li joined the Police as a Constable in 1953.
promoted, to probationary Inspector in 1966 and to Senior Inspector in
1971.
His success in eradicating trial and other criminal gangs in
Tsuen Wan has been the subject of numerous favourable comments from the
public and magistrates.

Detective Sergeant Ling Hei-ning
Mr. Ling joined the Police in 1947. He was posted to Special
Branch in 1951 where he served for the rest of his career.
Hr. Ling retired in 1972 but réjoined the Force in 1974. He

has been engaged in training dutic, in Special franci: where his long
experience and outstanding ability have resulted in a very high performance.

Sergeant N. Ting-cho
Mr. Ng joined the rolice Force in 1959 and was promoted to
Sergeant five years ago.
For the past five years, Mr. Ny serve on the training staff
of the Police Tactical Unit whore he made a major contribution to the
high standard reached by the Farco in internal security drills, and
tactics.
