ACTING GOVERNOR VISITS FOUR
HOUSING ESTATES
The Acting Governor, Sir Denys Roberts, spent this morning
visiting four Housing Authority estates, accompanied by the Secretary
for Housing, Mr Ian Lightbody, and the Director of Housing, Mr Donald
Liao,
Three of the estates are under construction, while a fourth,
almost fully completed, will be accepting its first tenants shortly.
Eventually, the four estates will provide housing for 146,000 people.

Sir Denys began his visit on Tsing Yi Island where he watched
