both of the ICAC (Independent Commission Against Corruption).
Her work has been among people in the lower income bracket in
Kwun Tong. She has vigorously encouraged young people and
students to participate in community activities.
Mr. S.L. Chen: Mr. Chen, an engineer by profession, is the
General Manager of the Hong Kong Electric Company. He has been
a member of the Hong Kong Training Council and the Board of
Governors of Polytechnic since 1973. Mr. Chen is well known
amongst the present generation of managers as one who has
risen through his professional and managerial ability.
Miss Lydia Dunn: Miss Dunn is Managing Director of Swire and
Maclaine (FE) Ltd. She is a member of the Textiles Advisory
Board, the Export Credit Insurance Corporation Advisory Board
and the Council of the Hong Kong Management Association.
She
was a member of the Lotteries Fund Management Committee from
1971 to 1975. She was a member of the Ready-to-Wear Organising
Committee from 1968 to 1976 and was Chairman of the Committee
for the 1976 Festival. Hiss Dunn was a member of the Commission
of Inquiry into the Telephone Company in 1975. She is typical
of the younger generation of highly qualified managers emerging
in Hong Kong.
Mr. Henry Hu Hung-lick: Mr. Hu, an elected Urban Councillor,
is a Barrister-at-Law by profession. He is Vice-Chairman of
the Urban Council and Chairman of its Hawkers Select Committee.
He is also a member of the Hong Kong Playground Association,
the Hong Kong Council of Social Services, the Criminal, and
Law Enforcement Injuries Compensation Board, and is vice-
president of the Neighbourhood Advisory and Action Council.
